About the Just Culture Company
Our journey started in 1988, when founder David Marx fell upon the book, Blind Trust, written by John Nance. In the book, John chronicled the evolution of the science of human factors within the work of the National Transportation Safety Board. From there, David was hooked. As a Boeing engineer, he was called to bring his engineering tools to the application of human factors within Boeing and its airline customers. Engineer by day, law school student at night. By 1995, he was off doing human factors work across industries. Outcomes Engenuity was the company name.
Today, the company exists in two business units. The Trajectories Company, exists to help organization evaluate risk, and consequently design better systems. Consider it the engineering side of our business. The Just Culture Company is the justice side. Our offices today are in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We’ve got a great group of advisors, IT professionals, client relations team members and multimedia experts all working to help make the world a better, more just place to live.
